You can’t expect a lot from the Bulgarian gay life, but there are still some places to explore. Better stick to a local guy who can take you around. If you can’t find anyone willing to do so, here are a few recommendations where you can go out, dance, dine or relax.

It’s also advisable to follow the new and trendy places in town. Sense roof top bar in the 5-stars design hotel Sense hotel is recommended. It offers the best view over the city and is visited by gay guys, but it’s not openly gay friendly. Places like Culture beat and Yalta club also attract gay visitors and are a better alternative. In general – don’t stick to the “gay” venues only, but instead go out exploring with your grindr on and hopefully magic will happen.

Taragon gay sauna
A bit difficult to find and far away from the center, yet the only gay sauna in town. The capacity is 15 persons meaning you become close very fast. The sauna is clean, has a steam room for 8 persons and 2 private rooms. Better devote yourself to finding someone through the websites and grindr then loosing much of your time there.

And don’t forget – there are HUGE things in Eastern Europe.
